The Minimus Trail is a fantastic lightweight trail shoe. The New Balance designers have done a great job of making it fit like a glove. The upper hugs the foot nicely and the sole has enough underneath even though it is a zero-drop shoe. Sometimes while running in it, I feel like I'm not even wearing them and don't need to "get out" of my shoes after a long run. They're just that comfortable.
